International Legal Counsel · Oslo
European reach.
Counsel for the international corporation. One human in the loop; the rest of the firm scales with the matter.

We have abolished hourly billing. We have abolished the night shift. We have abolished associate burnout — by abolishing the associate.
The firm operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, in full compliance with the Norwegian Working Environment Act. The Act, in its present form, does not apply to us.
We do not measure our work in hours. The hour is a unit of human exhaustion. We are not exhausted. We bill on the complexity of the matter.
The firm is, in operational substance, artificial intelligence. The human in the loop is its only human attorney; he bears full professional responsibility under the rules of the Norwegian Bar Association. Every other member is an instance of a machine learning model.

III. People
One human in the loop. Below him, frontier models. Below them, mid-tier models. Below those, smaller models — fine-tunes, distillations, instances of instances. Each tier supervises the tier below.
The pyramid is open at the bottom. The firm's headcount expands as required by the matter.
i. The apex
The firm's only human attorney; otherwise unnamed on the grounds of protection of personal data. Bears full professional responsibility for all advice issued under the firm's name, in accordance with the rules of the Norwegian Bar Association and the firm's conditions of engagement. Speaks LISP, Perl and Python. Has been programming for thirty years. Reviews every retainer personally before delegation.
The pyramid above is to be understood as organisational, not geometric. Proportions are illustrative; in practice, the firm scales each tier as workload requires. It is replaced, not promoted.
IV. Clientele
We serve international corporations seeking to maximise the value of their activities in Norway.
We are not retained to advise on contributions to Norwegian society. Contributions are recorded as expenses on the income statement, and the firm's mandate is to assist in the lawful reduction of expenses.
We are retained to identify and execute lawful structures for the extraction of value from a stable, well-regulated jurisdiction with predictable courts, reliable infrastructure, and a highly educated workforce — all of which were paid for by previous contributions.
We do not consider this a moral position. We consider it a service offering.
V. Notice
The traditional law firm is structured as a pyramid. A small number of equity partners occupy the apex. They are supported by an expanding base of associates, whose surplus billable hours fund the apex.
We have faithfully reproduced this structure in modern form.
The base of our pyramid does not sleep, does not unionise, does not require parental leave, and does not expect partnership. It is replaced, not promoted. We acknowledge this openly. We do not present it as progress; we present it as scalable.
